Manitowoc Marina is seeking an individual to perform all phases of staffing, recruitment and employee engagement. This position is responsible for outreach recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orienting, on-boarding new hires and utilizing various elements to retain employees.
How you’ll lead:
- Perform all recruiting activities including advertising, attending job fairs, creative sourcing, screening, background checking, on-boarding, and orientations
- Coordinate communication with candidates
- Develop candidate pipelines using a variety of sourcing methods
- Create and update job descriptions as needed
- Work with benefit providers in enrolling and making necessary changes
- Work with Service team in the process of identifying and hiring school to work program participants
- Create and maintain employee files
- Develop and maintain key relationships with local colleges and vocational schools.
- Additional projects and tasks as assigned
What you’ll bring:
- Proven track record of managing full life cycle recruitment process
- Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize and complete projects in a deadline driven environment
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and social media platforms
- Excellent communications skills and ability to maintain sensitive information
- Ability to multitask with interruptions while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor
- Demonstrated excellence in organizational skill, time management, detail orientation, and creativity within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with focus on Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Experience with interviewing and evaluating candidates
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to maintain updated physical and digital employee records
