The Passport 12 R is a rugged, rotomolded pedal kayak designed for anglers and adventurers alike. Powered by Hobie’s MirageDrive GT with Kick-Up Fin technology, it delivers hands-free forward propulsion and auto-retracting fins for protection in shallow or debris-filled waters.
At 12 feet long and 34 inches wide, it offers impressive stability and tracking, with a maximum capacity of 400 lb. The rotomolded hull keeps the weight manageable—73 lb for the hull, 83 lb fully rigged—while offering durability and ease of transport.
The kayaker-focused layout includes a breathable mesh seat, transducer cavity and Power-Pole Micro bracket, bow and stern storage with bungee, an 8″ twist-and-seal hatch, dual accessory tracks, rod holders, and under-seat tackle storage. The stubby rudder is simple and dependable, and a two-piece aluminum paddle is included for reverse or backup steering.
